The Irish Computer Society in partnership with Fast track to IT (FIT), will be hosting a professionalism & careers workshop for graduates on Thursday 31st July from 09:00 – 12:00, here at ICS in Ballsbridge.
The workshop will be an opportunity for students and graduates to network, gain skills and increase their chances of finding a job in their chosen areas.
Guest speaker on the day will be Business Manager for Abrivia IT and Telecoms division Cormac Moore. With over 15 years’ experience in recruitment, and having worked with leading companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems and Eden recruitment, and also being a former committee member of the National Recruitment Federation he will be giving his insights into the ICT jobs market.
Cormac is a graduate of UCD, and is currently pursuing a PhD. The company he works for; Abrivia, specialise in the placement of permanent and contract IT and Telecoms professionals across the public and private sectors with many of Ireland’s leading companies
The agenda for the workshop will include; ICT Professionalism, ICT jobs market and developing your career network. It will be an engaging session with frequent audience participation and planned exercises.
