This year Ireland will join the 30+ countries taking part in the International Bebras Challenge in Informatics and Computational Thinking.  Bebras is an online motivational challenge designed to get students all over the world excited about computing and computational thinking.

The ICS Foundation are delighted to announce that the National Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge will run during the week of 7th – 11th November, 2016 and is open to all primary and secondary schools.  There are a number of categories with varied-difficulty and age appropriate tasks to make the challenge a fun experience for all participants regardless of whether or not they have an existing interest or strong skills in maths, science or computing.

Each participants has 45 minutes to answer 15 multi-choice and interactive questions that focus on computational and logical thinking.
